We've been cut from Thursday night altogether and our 30-40 minute sets have been pared down to a 20 minute set on Friday and a 15 minute set on Saturday.
Just wanted to warn anyone who might be coming out to see us.

Anybody see 24 hours on Craig's List, currently playing at the Red Vic in the Haight ?

I'm not familiar with all the F Space characters, but someone is in the movie wearing an F Space t-shirt. He's trying to sell a kid's scooter, but the movie makes it look like he's going to steal it, but wants to make sure he can sell it before he steals it ?! (like, he points to it over a fence, and says, "wanna buy that?" )

Who is it ?

Hey Kids

Would you like to see F-Space perform in your home town? You would!!!! Excellent.

F-Space is currently booking a full US Tour for Sept/Oct of this year. Some of the dates will be How to Destroy the Universe Festivals. If you are interested in helping set up a show, promoting or performing, let us know.

We will be bringing our PA so we can play anywhere. Unusual pyro friendly spaces are more desirable than clubs, but clubs are acceptable if need be but will be sans-flambe'.

They just (5 minutes ago) decided to play at the Laughing Squid Blog Launch Party, info below:

You are invited to the…

Laughing Squid Blog Launch Party

Thursday, April 21st
7pm to 11pm

Albion Castle
881 Innes Avenue
San Francisco

At the beginning of the year, we launched a blog for Laughing Squid (running WordPress of course), so we are going to have a little blog launch party this Thursday, April 21st at the legendary Albion Castle in San Francisco. Yeah, I know we launched the blog a while ago, but what better reason or place to have a party, plus we haven’t had one in a while.

If you haven’t been to the Albion Castle before, it an amazing and historic building located in the Hunter’s Point area of San Francisco. It once was a brewery and it has a natural springs next door which is accessible through caverns that go 200 feet deep. Many wonderful events have taken place in these caverns over the years and this may be your last chance to visit them. The owner of the Albion Castle is selling the place and our friends are moving out at the end of the month. One of the residents, Paul de Jong, just happens to be Laughing Squid’s Help Desk manager for our web hosting operations, so among other things, the Albion Castle is essentially Laughing Squid’s tech support center. Here are some photos of the Albion Castle.

Please bring some beer/wine/etc and Paul will be firing up the BBQ on the terrace, so bring something for the grill as well. This is an small event for our loyal visitors and feed readers and it is not being promoted beyond this blog, but feel free to bring a friend if you want (if you do, bring extra beer for your friend).

The Albion Castle is located in Hunter’s Point, just past The Box Shop and not from from Hunter’s Point Navel Shipyard. Here are directions, a map and the Albion Castle as seen from space.

For more on the Albion Castle, check out the website.

UPDATE 1: If anyone is interested in doing an acoustic performance in the caverns, let us know.

UPDATE 2: Although this is party is analog by its nature, there is a wireless network that is accessible from some parts of the “castle” for those live blogging types (you know who you are).
I am the producer of the TV show “Tribe TV” (www.colemanfilm.com/tribetv http://tribetv.tribe.net ) an associate project of Tribe.net. Our show is devoted to filming the highest rated bands on our site at locations highly rated on our site in the SF Bay area. Your band qualifies as one of the above: http://sanfrancisco.tribe.net/recommendation/8f68c534-d908-4401-a56f-85b3b4167ab6

Our next film shoot is January 15th in the east bay. We’d love for you to play in one of our two remaining time slots: 9-11 am or 3-5 pm. Our show has picked up some great press in the last month by the San Jose Mercury News and the SF Chronicle; this is a great time for a band to participate and experience firsthand what makes this show successful. Please let me know if you are interested in participating or would like to inquire more about details.

F-Space Gig History

#58
Robodock 09/23/04
Amsterdam, Netherlands
F-Space: Jenerik/Port/Kali
Total White Out
Hot Pants
Through the night Softly
Children of the Dum Dum

Big festival, big stage, big (humungous) sound, pro lighting, fog, strobes, way rock and roll. F-Space totally filled and resonated the massive building.

Other Bands: Double Nelson (they kicked ass) Lot’s of machine art.

#57
Nijmagen, Netherlands 09/22/04
Big Pants, Squat
F-Space: Jenerik/Port/Kali
Total White Out
Hot Pants
Through the night Softly
Children of the Dum Dum

Amazing gig, great audience. Scot demolished Volatile at the end of the set after he broke multiple springs during the gig. Weird power in the space, some equipment fried.

#56
Ameland, Netherlands 09/21/04
F-Space: Jenerik/Port/Kali
Total White Out
Hot Pants
Through the night Softly

Secret Island Gig in the forest on the remote island in the North Sea. Cold and wet.

#55
Continental Club, New York 09/16/04
Hot Pants
Through the night Softly

Great night with lot’s of energy. Was the day that Johnny Ramone died. Best club gig to date. Ethan was ON. Small audience but the music was bliss.
F-Space performed a full fire show, in the shipyard which is a compound of shipping containers, art and a metal shop, in front of Kiki’s Egeria firefall fountain. Scot lit the fountain on fire with his flame thrower at the end of the set. Ethan was so sick with food poisoning the night before he almost didn’t make it.

Scot fired up the flamethrower at the end of Hot Pants. Matt Callahan (adopted for good) ran sound and Kimie Leary did Merch. Greg Grunky from Savage Republic raved about the set.

“F-Space absolutely killed!
Then F Space threw it into drive and nobody knew what hit 'em! Scot Jenerik, playing his various percussion contraptions, and drummer Aleph Kali established a complete rhythm lock pounding out patterns of amazing intricacy and intensity while Ethan added snaky melodies and sheets of texture with his guitar armada. The hall had too much flammable stuff for them to go totally apeshit with the pyrotechnics but Scott did fire up one of his smaller devices that shot out bursts of propane flame as it was played kinda like the time Granny's stove exploded. All this at a volume level that at times made early Swans sound like Raffi and sent the lightweights heading for the hills. Overall a stunning display of sonic ferocity and beauty the likes of which L.A. hasn't seen in quite a spell.”
First in hopefully a series of SF festivals. Really fun evening with lot's of energy. Matt Callahan's first gig helping out with sound. Over 300 people came out on a cold wet December night. The review from the Bay Guardian says it all.

"Then came the moment I'd been waiting for. F-Space battered the unsuspecting audience with a wall of noise. Port's instrumentation on an electric 12-string maintained the breakneck speed and ominous tones of early Savage Republic. He'd loop a string of notes into a mixer, then switch guitars, or forsake them for a homemade instrument created out of two thick metal springs stretched along the length of a four-foot-long segment of pipe, which he alternately beat on and picked up and let drop to the floor.

Jenerik used drumsticks and even a violin bow to elicit the most raw and, at times, excruciating sounds from a similar instrument propped on a metal sawhorse. Kali added the energy of a runaway locomotive on drums.

The result was apocalyptic: the music summoned a feral, destructive trance state that implied a catastrophic act of nature, a march through the desert on the path to war, or the offender's mental state during a crime of passion." -(Camille T. Taiara) SFBG Dec 17, 2003

Scot's fireballs floating up toward the spectators. At the end of the set, Scot kicked Volatile across the arena and smashed it to pieces. The audience went Ape Shit.

Volatile had no sound, and during Invocation Scot was attached by a schizoid woman. Scot is so in the Zone during the performances that he said it took all the energy that he had to not put Thor through the Woman's forehead.
First gig of the newly reformed F-Space. The first time that Scot, Ethan and Joel had all three been on stage together. During the first song, Scot went ape shit overdrive, slamming thor repeatedly on the ground, during which he broke a finger and ripped his hand open in three places. As he staggered back on to the stage in a daze, blood dripping on to the floor, Ethan said "I think Scot has issues with Utah". The audience was blasted into another dimension.
F-Space: Jenerik/Port

Long drive, disaster of a show, didn’t get paid. At one point in the set the owner of the space told the sound guy to go tell them to stop playing, Scot was in the process of blasting his flame thrower, the sound guy told him he was going nowhere near the stage.

#8 F is for Flame, Abstrakt Zone, Emeryville, CA 6/4/98
F-Space: Jenerik/Port

Vordo’s space. Lot’s and Lot’s of fire, and Ethan in a pink leotard with “too hot to handle” stenciled on the front. Great show.

#7 Cyberbuss Costume Ball, Griffith St, San Francisco, CA 5/30/98
F-Space: Jenerik/Port/Mulford

Big, heavy, massive rhythms. During the set Scot sliced his forehead open on a piece of steel. Most people didn’t notice the blood running down his face. Kiki’s first introduction to the band. Wrote a review with the classic line “they finished sounding like the entire power grid for the Western US just went off line”.

#4 23five Benefit, The Lab, San Francisco, CA 11/8/97
F-Space: Jenerik/Port

An incredible night of sound, projections, sushi and beer for an over capacity crowd at the Lab. F-Space closed the night with an explosive set of percussive destruction.

#3 Burning Man, Black Rock Desert, NV 8/31/97
F-Space: Jenerik/Port/ T'Chung

F-Space performance into T'Chung performance into a jam between the two bands. Documented by a German film crew for the film Burning Man 2020. It took Scot over 100 strikes to break sub-linear in half. The audience went Ballistic and can be seen in full frenzy in the movie.

#2 Burning Man, Black Rock Desert, NV 8/29/97
F-Space: Jenerik/Port
Equilibrium

Scot’s composition “Equilibrium” performed on Sub Linear, with Ethan’s noisy guitar wash over and through the piece. When Scot broke Sub Linear in half at the end of the set, the whole contraption fell off the stage and took a chunk out of photographer Gregory Cowley’s arm. This provided Greg with a commemorative scarification of the first real F-Space performance. Documented by a German film crew for the film Burning Man 2020, directed by Christoph Gampl and Andreas Kukutsch.

#1 Burning Man, Black Rock Desert, NV 8/28/97
F-Space: Jenerik/Port

No PA so Scot and Ethan performed on flaming oil drums next to a piano frame where other friends joined in the percussive mayhem. This is also the show where Scot lit himself on fire, had to do the drop and roll, and while drumming on a flaming oil drum smashed his left index finger, blowing all of the meat out of the tip. The jam went on for another half hour while Scot drummed and spread blood all over his body and face. A fitting beginning for F-Space.

"Wow, They Don't Suck!?!"

That's what the few and the proud have said about the recent sonic pummeling rituals carried out at some of New York's finest ultra underground establishments.

San Francisco's proto-industrial post-punk-adelic F-SPACE are playing one final New York show TONIGHT at the Continental Club (25 3rd Ave - 212.529.6924), and it's apparently FREE FREE FREE (Donations graciously accepted to feed poor
F-SPACE)! So what's your excuse for not checking these guys out? Gotta stay home and scrape some playa dust out of your fingernails? Mobilization even brought a stack of rare IPR items and other merch to hawk.

If you are near NYC, trek to the Continental Club tonight to check out the final chapter of this years NYC How to Destroy the Universe Festival. The mayhem begins at 8:00.

The lineup is:
8:00 God is My Co-Pilot (back from the Un-Dead!)
8:30 The Hungry Action Marching Band!
9:15 The Fakes - Don't be fooled, these guys are the genuine Punk Rock Article!
10:00 Torch Job - Crazy pyro chicks fresh from the Playa. Tara will be carrying the newest addition to the band tonight!
11:00 F-SPACE - What can you say? One description last night heard at Tommy's Tavern (another Free Free Free show) was "Shimmering Rich Cacophonous Tapestry of Sound". No one knows how to describe just what the hell happens when these three psyos (Pyro Sound Artist SCOT JENERIK, Savage Republic-an ETHAN PORT (the guy in the WTC on 9/11) and Chrome drummer ALEPH KALI) get together for their sonic marshmellow roasts?!
12:00 Pretty Flowers mop up the fallout with more Punk rock insanity.

Also: videos of the Vomitorium, Kaosmic Kitty, Shaye Saint John and the
California Institute of Abnormal Arts.

It's free, F-SPACE are here in NYC en route to Amsterdam, so they can afford
to play for free for you sorry sad sacks, so get to the show and bring yer
friends (or enemies). No excuses.

F-SPACE (with members of SAVAGE REPUBLIC and CHROME)is playing a few
shows in NYC en route to Holland to play the ROBODOCK festival. The
NYC shows are part of the "How to Destroy the Universe Festival - Part 3"
TUE SEPT 14 - THU SEPT 16 in NYC and Brooklyn.

**TUE SEPT 14 - Lit Lounge, 93 2nd Ave (between 5th St. and 6th St.)

**WED SEPT 15 - Tommy's Tavern, 1041 Manhattan Avenue at Freeman Street
Brooklyn, New York 11222 718.383.9699 $5-$10 sliding scale (w/ God is My
Co-Pilot, extreme videos, more TBA)

**THUR SEPT 16 - Continental Club, 25 Third Avenue (between St. Marks Place
& 9th St.) 212.529.6924 SavageRepublic.com/Mobilization.com CD Release party
(w/ Torch Job, The Flirts, God is My Co-Pilot, extreme videos, more TBA)

Most of the F-SPACE material that will be performed is from the
upcoming CD which will be released on Neurot Records next April 2005.
These shows are warm ups for next year's tour titled the "Soundtrack
of the Apocalypse". Mobilization.com will have a few very limited
edition CDs available at the show taken from a binaural digital
recording of the F-SPACE "Thunderdome" show last week which has live
versions of these new tracks. The material is very tight and powerful
following the 12 Burning Man shows last week.

For the NYC shows only, I'll also be reading the account of my escape
from the World Trade Center on 9/11, which will be interesting since
many of the friends who helped me that week will be at the show.

Mobilization has also thrown together on very short notice a slightly
scaled down version (no fire) of the "How to Destroy the Universe
Festival". Details on this festival series are available at:
http://www.mobilization.com/destroy.html

If you saw F-SPACE on the Playa at Burning Man this year, PLEASE
PLEASE PLEASE help get people to come out and support our first ever
East Coast shows. This will help us bring the full Destroy festival to
NYC in April 2005. Like everyone, we are running on a very meager DIY
budget, so your support will make all the difference. Advanced tickets
will pay for our cab fare to get to the gigs!

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE support this event by inviting anyone in the
NYC area to see this rare appearance by this incendiary San Francisco
area project. Tickets are $5-$10 sliding scale. No one turned away due
to lack of funds, but please email in advance to request a sponsored
admission.

Discounted advanced tickets are on sale now at:
http://www.mobilization.com/catalog.html#destroy3

We are also offering a special deal for the festival where you can get
the latest F-SPACE CD "Preliminary Impact Report" below the wholesale
price when you purchase a ticket to any day of the Destroy festival.

We also have special 3 day passes to the festival for sale online for
$20, which also also includes a copy of the new F-SPACE CD.

We are still looking for more video and performance artists for the
festival. Of course we'll have discounted copies of most of the
Mobilization catalog available at the show as well, plus the brand new
Black F-SPACE T-Shirts. With luck the patches may even be done.

Here is the current schedule (subject to change):

I'd personally like to thank everyone that came up and talked to us after each of the BM shows, and even those who didn't but attended the gigs anyway.

I'd also like to thank all of the "family" that I shared shelter and insights with this past week.

I had a great time performing all 14 shows, but am happy to be back in SF for a brief breather before heading out to NYC and Amsterdam next week.

BTW, new (black) T-shirts and buttons are on the way....

I caught a performance of yours at last years Burning Man and it was definitely one of the most memorable things I saw. So good to see old skool noise alive and well.
Are you planning on playing at BM this year? If so I'm looking forward to it!
If not, either way I would like to help arrange a show in Portland for you sometime. Lot's of noise happening here right now.
Rock on! Yow!

All right

Time to get this locomotive thundering along again.

We had practice last night, for the first time in a couple of months (I was off helping the shorter rock stars pull down hard on rock and plastic) and in the midst of "Through the Night Softly" the cream reached a blissful overload and I was yet again reminded why we do this shit. Over all we were very solid for as little as we've played recently. We have multiple rehearsals scheduled before the Destroy Festival and will be performing different songs on each night. We also will be performing multiple shows every night at Burning Man (with Zoviet France). The tour dates for the West coast tour are coming together for mid september. And we've been asked to perform at a festival in the Netherlands in late September (more on that later).

On the recording side, we have more than enough material for the next CD which Neurot Records will be putting out. We just need to spend the time getting it down. I'd imagine with press delays it will be available just in time for the xmass season.

Preliminary Impact Report finally got released and is currently being played on independent and college radio stations across the country. We've already made the top ten on quite a few of the stations playlists. That's cool.

So get your asses to the How to Destroy the Universe: Part 2 Festival.

Destroy Part 2 highlights several bands with non-cutesy over-the-top
rockin'
women,
and other transgressive performers and video artists that break
fundamental
rules of humanity and
the universe.

*Note: no one turned away due to lack of funds. Please email us in

A weekend festival targeting the best in Extreme art, music,
performance and
culture.

*************************************************************************
*****WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL ABOUT?**************************************
*************************************************************************
MOBILIZATION is honored to bring the festival to this location:
friendly,
casual, intelligent, open minded and Flame Resistant!
How to Destroy the Universe is a curetted extreme music/art/performance
festival series dedicated to presenting fiercely individual and
independent
artists to the community. The festival is roughly grounded in the "post
punk" tradition, but is open to any new and innovative ideas. The
festivals
are inherently community based, focused on promoting and supporting a
cruelly
alternative arts culture both locally and globally.

Destroy-Part 2 takes place on Hiroshima day, book-ending the first
festival
last DEC 7, 2004 (Pearl Harbor Day) at Studioz in San Francisco.
Inspired by
the historic date, the performers and artists have been picked with
perhaps
a
darker or more somber slant, while all still being quite explosive and
transgressive in their own individual way. The festival is organized by
members of the bay area pyro post-punk group F-SPACE (members of
SAVAGE REPUBLIC and CHROME, and noise artist SCOT JENERIK), who combine
homemade
incendiary percussion instruments with hypnotic alternately tuned
guitars
and runaway locomotive drums. F-SPACE takes their name from the art
space
Los Angeles artist Chris Burden and friends used to present their
extreme
physical artwork that was banned at any other galleries, and it is this
tradition that inspires the How to Destroy the Universe Festival.

The Shipyard's outdoor location for this festival is compatible with
large
scale fire art and sculptures. Bay area artist Kiki will bring her 3
story
water fountain EGERIA to the space, configuring it to weep tears of
fire
during the F-SPACE performance. Indra Lowenstein from "Collapsing
Silence"
will be accompanying F-SPACE on Friday at this performance with a
special
Butoh style dance dedicated to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.JIM MASON
(manager of
the shipyard and known at Burningman for his fire canons that spew 100+
foot
columns of burning diesel fuel) has volunteered to create a massive
John
Cage inspired 2 ton ice sculpture with encased pebbles melting onto
amplified bamboo mats.

This festival is also highlighting many bands and artists with women in
nontraditional roles, such as bands like "BLACK ICE", "THE SIXTEENS"
and
"BINKY" with women taking dominant and aggressive roles that are
traditionally identified in a more masculine way. We also feature
extreme
video artists who transgress traditional societal views of gender and
orientation, such as RON ATHEY and SHAYE SAINT JOHN.

Berlin performance artists THE INDRA and DEEDEE LUX use subtle sarcasm
and
extreme elaborate costumes to emphasize and critique female roles and
sexual
assumptions.
THE AESTHETIC MEAT FRONT close out the festival with a bang through
their
public
"Deprogramming ritual" aimed at transforming themselves and the
audience to
an alternate state of reality beyond our commercially controlled
corporate
universe.

I post this here because I saw some of you at the Long Now Eno lecture, thought you'd all be interested...

from dug email...

hello all ye on the doug-list,

hope you're doin well.
well, as you might already know, Caroleen Beatty and I made a faithful re-make of Brian Eno's 1974 album, 'Taking Tiger Mountain (by Strategy)'. Yep, the whole thing. all ten songs. woo hoo! ENO himself liked it so much that he wrote the liner notes for our cd. It's out now in the stores and on the web, just been released last week or so, and there's a great buzz going around about it. so go ahead and tell all your friends. yay!

the curious can check out the 'lil webpage I made for it:
http://www.saucefaucet.com/tiger.html

anyhoo, in honor of this new release, I have assembled a team of top notch lovelies to play the entire cd (+1 bonus track) LIVE!!!! we are ENORCHESTRA, and we are members of Waycross, Dirty Power, and The Quails...WOW!
It's a special event, a rare bird, if you will, and it's this Thursday (tomorrow), June 17th @ The Eagle Tavern, 12th & Harrison. We are the second band @ 10:30pm, after WHOA NELLIES, and before THE WOODYZ.

it's gonna be really fun and all, so I do hope you can make it out.

Some commentary from the organizer of this week's event at the Shipyard:

"This wasn't just a great event, I was *completely* blown away! Could things have not gone better?!?

It was our great honor to have you in our space. What you guys are doing is exactly in resonance with the vibe of the Shipyard. We want you back! *You* want to come back! Yay!!! :)

<snip>
We'll talk further with Jim and Charlie [Shipyard partners] about the future of F-Space events at the Shipyard, but I, personally, think we should think about *periodic* events.
The Shipyard is in a fragile place right now with Berkeley, but this is changing, and events are one of the thing we're literally *made* for.

But if we do periodic events, we must have something new each time to make it worth going to every time.

I'd like to do more than just have Scot's flame thrower bathe the fountain. :) I think there's some real potential for collaboration on a large scale. As large-scale metal artists, our art typically is very sturdy, and steel makes great sounds. I think if we, as sculptors, plant the seed of making our pieces playable, and you, as musicians, plant the seed of playing sculpture -- not just sculptural instruments, like you already make, but instrumental *sculpture* -- I think we could really reap an amazing harvest and feed our respective creativity for a good while!

And people would keep coming back to see what insanity the Shipyard/F-Space has done "this time".

Anyway, I'm walking on air today! My head is exploding with ideas! Let's do this more! You guys rock!!!!!"

Just curious if other F-Space fans also find the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack to be as mezmerizing as I do. I ask only because it's a bit of an odd soundtrack. But I like it for many of the same reasons I like F-Space's music.

It makes me drive fast. :)

Kiki
PS Ghost in the Shell, is, of course, a Japanese animation [that inspired much of the look-and-feel of The Matrix, BTW.]

F-Space show ROCKED!!!

I owe a giant THANK YOU!! to everyone who set up art, performed, helped out, and came and pitched in for the show last saturday! WOW WHAT A SHOW!!!

Friday [or rather saturday] night at about 4:00am, we got Ryon's Eye up on it's arched legs! It was almost frightening to see it up there -- it's HUGE!! The late night made for a groggy morning, but people came out of the woodwork to help with the last minute clean and check, cleaning the bathroom and shop, putting up bathroom and exit signs, refueling, watching door and street and security, setting up, cooking food for the volunteers, and more and more art coming out of the woodwork, F-Space breathing through their setup, and so on. It was stunning to watch it all come together perfectly!

The show was *awesome* [from what I could see from my stressed and sleep-deprived brain. :) ] I resisted falling into a trance while F-Space played. I watched the audience that varied from standing transfixed, to rocking wide-eyed, to head banging! And Amaker was a mosh pit of one, I think! :)

Scot Jenerik bathed Egeria in his flame thrower and ignited her for the finale! Wow. Wow!

Scott's dad thanked us bunches and had a great time [and is inspired to possible join or start a band of his own!]. Fun was had by all, and in particular those who made this amazing show happen!

F-Space and the Shipyard folks are already talking about collaborating -- doing more than merely setting up art and playing beneath it, but working together to make some giant art/performance massive sculptural instrumental freakouts where the boundary between our art and their music does not exist! They want to come back, we want them back, and we want to do MORE next time!

And, personally, I'm way into the "dessert show" time -- 8-10. Just after dinner, just before heading into the City. Short enough and cheap enough everyone can head out to more fun when it's done!

So anyway, thank you thank you thank you! It was a very special event! I am continually amazed and touched by everyone around us. We *all* made this happen, and we made this happen for *us*! Let's keep doing that!
your, ahem, music

In the years that I've been exploring the experimental music scene I have never seen an act so anti-intellectual, so bangy-bangy, so utterly nihilistic as F-Space.

You know, not everyone has an adolescent fixation with large pieces of poorly-built machinery that break repeatedly during performance (in addition to constituting a "class 3 firehazard" - has the fire marshall approved your set?). Not everyone enjoys the sound of colossal towers of rhythm, the chromatic dirge of over-reverbed guitars, or the spectacle of billowing clouds of flame.

While there is a "drama" to your performance, it is a drama that stems from and is programmed by the conflict/resolution dichotomy which always already saturates the liminal spaces of media. When I watched you guys hammer and pound I kept asking myself "Where is the transcendence? Where is the love?"

Led Zeppelin of noise, indeed. I'm afraid that Robert Plant knew all-too-well the lesson you still need to learn as a band. I recommend that you closely listen to the lyrics of "All of My Love" to see what I mean.

I would also recommend that you all quit the "music" profession and either become roadies for a monster truck rally or high school shop teachers.
